Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the I Promise List application ("App"), the website i-promise-list.com or the Telegram bot @ipromiselist_bot (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

I Promise List helps you make promises to yourself and keep them: create one-off and recurring promises, mark them kept, follow your streaks, and install plugins — ready-made sets of promises for a goal. With an account your data is synchronised across devices; you can also use the App as a guest.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information. You may delete your account at any time from Profile; this permanently removes your data from our servers.

4. Free plan and Pro subscription

The free plan includes unlimited one-off promises and one installed plugin at a time. Pro adds recurring promises (daily, weekly, monthly), unlimited plugins and the AI mentor.

Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase, monthly or yearly. The monthly plan may include a free trial; if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple account is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change for future periods with notice.

5. AI features

The AI mentor and the plan generator produce text automatically. It is motivational content, not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. Review any generated plan before acting on it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no attempts to access other users' data or our systems without authorisation, no interference with its operation, no unlawful use, and no automated scraping.

7. Your content

Your promises and other content remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, sync and display them to you. Plugins and other shared content in the App are ours or our licensors' and are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Intellectual property

The App, website, bot and their design, code and content are owned by I Promise List and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I Promise List is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version; material changes will also be announced in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
